Dedicated to our favorite Disney paramours: Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar. Take note the title was named after the pin in
Epic Mickey. Thank you for the help,

Debuted in the late 1920's, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow were known as the original major co-stars of the original Mickey Mouse shorts. In their earliest incarnation, both Horace and Clarabelle were presented as farm animals, walking on all-fours. Time rolled on, and they soon had the uncanny ability to transform from hind-legged animals, into well-developed anthropomorphic characters, walking uprightly. They both frequently appeared as a couple (opposite to Mickey and Minnie) in theatrical B&W cartoon shorts in 1930-1934, but as time went on, their stardom waned, and were outshone by several new rising stars: Donald Duck and Goofy/Dippy Dawg. Eventually, the couple made their final film appearance in
Symphony Hour (1942), and vanished until four decades later when the pair returned on-screen to cameo in
Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983). Post
Mickey's Christmas Carol, Horace and Clarabelle revived their obscure careers, and starred in other animated features including
The Prince and the Pauper (1990),
Mickey Mouse Works (1999-2000) and Disney's
House of Mouse (2001-2003).

The Comics♥
Both Horace and Clarabelle weren't anything more than supporting characters, though, they starred in numerous European comics by having their own titles. Clarabelle and Horace were officially engaged in some of the comics published in 1931 and 1932, but sadly, it never followed through, or was ever mentioned again...
This group has been established in deep appreciation to our beloved
"Odd Couple." Everyone, welcome to the HoraceXClarabelle dedication group. ~
